i have almost finished making a silk kimono for my lovely friend Kathy, who's gonna have a bubba in her arms in approx 4 weeks what better way to hang around on your babymoon then wearing a silk Kimono,
I'm having a bit of trouble with making the Obi (and have missed placed the peice of paper with the instructions to this oopps!)

we ate our fist meal of potatos out of our garden, and we have been eating a steady supply of suga snap peas, baby carrots,
i'm gonna head down to the beach and get some seaweed to mulch and brew up a liquid plant food. this will up the nutriant count in our vegies too! yum yum

i'm thinking of having a little get together this Sat for the burying of Lucys placenta and the planting of the Kowhai tree she was given (it's just an idea?) anyone interested?? i'll keep you posted weather this actually happens or not.
maybe we'll have a little banquet?
